i change my haircut that is shorter.
If i were in Taiwan now. i will be thought I serve the military service expect my beard.
Maybe the stereotype of the military is crop.
The stereotype influences people so much that make people afraid to do something.
Chinese traditionally believe if father doesn't have beard, son can't have it.
It hints that the son is older/more powerful than the father.
It is likely doesn't show respect to the father.
