i don't think here design is totally different with Taiwan.
But here does have something a little different.
At least, the feeling of doing design is a little different.
Every feeling is intense.

There are six platforms in Department of Design Products, RCA.
They have different ways/directions.
My first choice is 8, second is 12.
But why i am in 6 now?
Only two people first choice is 8, so 8 is gone.
The tutor of 12 says

Last night, here came a guest - a bee,
It stayed on the lamp of my small bedroom that i didn't know what i should do.
i felt scared, so i decided to kill it.

Human is interesting creature, i mentioned before.
Human sometime likes stable life/object/anything, sometimes likes dynamite ones.
In peaceful life, someone would like to create something critical to show some social phenomena.
So it becomes a kind of trend/phenomenon, many people follows.
Maybe critical design creates a new way for design that attracts some people in it.

i can't deny design is business/service, whatever it is, it's related to $.
i can't deny making a lot of money by design that it's evil.
But when a designer becomes a "great" designer,
does it mean one is going to turn into a great businessman?
It's great to earn large money by creating great objects.
